Who We Are

Wild Skies is a family owned resort and wedding venue in River Hills, Manitoba. Situated on the banks of the Whitemouth River, we offer glamping domes, tents and cabins for rent on our forested property. Our 10 acre paradise is the perfect location for your wedding or elopement.

it’s finally feeling like winter around here. 🤞🏼that the snow is here to stay this time. here’s some of the cutest butts at the resort to celebrate! 🤍

2 young(ish) naive entrepreneurs buy 10 acres and spend countless hours (and our fair share of blood, sweat, and tears) turning it into a glamping resort + wedding venue. it’s not the fairytale most people dream of. but it’s our dream come true. ✨

most days we are reminded of why we’ve chosen this path by the people we get the honour of hosting. by the joy we share with our wedding couples. and by the people we’ve worked with along this journey. but nothing compares to the heart fuzzies i feel when we take time for ourselves to actually enjoy this magical space. especially when our gaggle of furry friends is involved. in the end, it’s me + you, babe. aaaand our exponentially expanding fur-family. (oops).

are you more of a winter adventurer or winter hibernater? whether you choose to spend the coldest days of the year out skiing and snowshoeing across frozen ponds or can usually be found curled up with a good book and a mug of tea - you should be doing it at @wildskies.resort. embrace winter your way - we’ll provide the cozy accommodation and epic views. ❄️

in the summer we leave a basket of free farm fresh eggs and you’ll also find the daily fire status posted on the door. 🔥

our wood fired sauna is a hit year-round. just ask moose + josie! 🔥 in the summer, create your own thermea experience by cooling off in the river or our cold tubs. in the winter, get the same experience by rolling in the snow between hot sessions. ❄️ we provide the firewood, firestarters, water bucket and essential oils to make your sweat sesh as relaxing as possible. 🧖🏼‍♀️
