Who We Are

Wild Skies is a family owned resort and wedding venue in River Hills, Manitoba. Situated on the banks of the Whitemouth River, we offer glamping domes, tents and cabins for rent on our forested property. Our 10 acre paradise is the perfect location for your wedding or elopement.

the moment he called me outside the sky exploded in colour as light danced across the sky from horizon to horizon. neither of us have ever witnessed a show like this before. 🤯

it’s officially ✨spring✨, baby! we’re looking back at our second winter season full of pride and appreciation. thank you for giving winter camping a try, Manitoba! you’ve kept us busy and we are so grateful for every single guest we’ve had the honour of hosting. 😌

we’ve quickly realized that winter is the hardest season for us. not because of the snow or the cold, or even the endless firewood, but because our guests tend to spend their stays inside and we don’t get the chance to get to know them! this weekend feels like we’ve rounded the corner - everyone was outside skating, tobogganing, walking pups down the river, making s’mores around the bonfire, visiting the chickens and having so much fun! we felt our connection to the wild skies experience and the space return and I think everyone visiting felt it too. 🥰
