Who We Are

Wild Skies is a family owned resort and wedding venue in River Hills, Manitoba. Situated on the banks of the Whitemouth River, we offer glamping domes, tents and cabins for rent on our forested property. Our 10 acre paradise is the perfect location for your wedding or elopement.

the falling leaves signify the end of our third summer as resort owners! holy smokes! sometimes it still doesnt feel real. are we actually resort owners @renetalbotphoto?! 😅

since may 31, 2021 we have hosted thousands of guests, celebrated over 40 weddings and added a few dozen new pets to our family. (oops!)

we are FINALLY starting to feel like we have a routine + some structure in our day-to-day, despite how often the hobbits try to derail that. 🐐 we have two amazing staff members who keep things running smoothly and the weekly trips to the lumber yard are no more.

of course our number one asked question is ‘are you adding more domes?!’. the short answer is ‘not right now’. keep your eyes open for wild skies pt ✌🏼.

our public events have slowed down for the year, but we’ll be back this winter with WINTERFEST 2.0. iykyk.

the stargazer and peak tents will be closed next week for winter, but we’d love to host you in our domes or the milky way cabin this winter. we’ve been busy chopping firewood to keep you toasty warm! 🔥

promise we are still WEEKS away from these views, but plans are underway for winter camping adventures! Wild skies is the perfect intro for experienced campers wanting to give winter camping a go. you’ll get to experience snowshoeing, tobogganing and skating on a frozen river. you’ll be tasked with keeping your wood stove going, but if it goes out your heated bed will keep you toasty warm! 🔥

dome + cabin bookings are now open until April 30, 2024. for the first time we’ve even opened up some dates over the holidays! 🎄
